Update on hubby

Well this past Thursday Eddie went for yet another test. This time he had an MRI. He went for the test and had to wait for 1 1/2 hrs (in pain) while the nurse made calls to his Dr.'s office to see where his orders were. They had him in the system for the appointment and they knew what he was having but they require the Dr's orders with his signature to perform the tests. Well Eddie's apt. was late in the afternoon (the imaging center stays open later than most dr's offices) and when they called his Dr they had already closed, and the Dr on call was paged and when we called back he knew nothing about Eddie's test. Talk about being frustrated! Eddie had to come home and go back the next morning to try again. Well...the next morning he went and once again they had not taken the time to get the orders. So he had to wait another hour while they got it all together. Well, now since the rescheduled test was on a Friday we had to wait all weekend until today to get the results. All the waiting is terrible when you don't know what is wrong? So over this past weekend, Eddie did a lot of resting and actually thinks he might be getting better. This weekend he finally got some much needed relief. He was not having all the piercing pain he had been experiencing over the past 3 weeks. We were assuming due to all the meds he was taking. However, with each day passing he seems to feel a little better. Praise GOD! We have prayed daily for his strength, healing, and for wisdom for the Dr.'s to figure out what was causing all the pain. Well we finally got the call this afternoon about his MRI. It showed nothing that could cause him that much pain. We are stunned that after all these test there is nothing to report. Obviously when you are in that much pain you want to know what is causing it all? The doctors are puzzled, but we are claiming his healing and praying each day that the pain does not return.
