Turkey Day Activities

We spent Thanksgiving on the go like we do every year. This year we were not sure how much traveling Eddie would be able to do since his leg is still in the full brace. However, he was a real trooper and we drove to his Aunt Terry's house for lunch. He wanted to spend some time with his Mom and Grandmother and that side of his family. We then went to his Dad's house in the afternoon to just hang out and relax with that crew. Here a few pictures from that day. Eddie's 90 year old Grandmother- so thankful for her! Eddie and I being silly before stuffing our face This is how we roll~we roll! haha Eddie rode laying down on top of the seats with his leg propped up on the third row. Poor baby!My sister Jennifer and her husband Grant came to stay with us for several days. Our parents are vacationing at the beach for several weeks, so Jen and I cooked a turkey meal for dinner all by ourselves! Jen made this yummy apple pie from scratch!
We all then went to the Hockey game for a little Thanksgiving fun. Guess who is the proud owner of another #37 Travis Kauffeldt jersey! ME ME ME! haha
This is a terrible picture from Eddie's I-phone but it will have to do. I really love this sport! On a sad note we received a call that Eddie's step-dad, while growing up, had passed away from heart failure. We knew it was going to happen but was a little surprised it had happened so soon. He has been sick for a while now. We attended the visitation and grave side service on Friday.

Our weekend was so busy, we also had Briana, our niece's 6th birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese on Saturday. That place is crazy!!

So tell me how did you spend your "Turkey Day?"
