Summer Vacay

I wanted to blog about my summer cruise before I forgot about all the fun we had. Me, Eddie, my sister Jennifer and her husband Grant all flew to Puerto Rico for a few days before we set sail for a week on the Carnival Victory. We walked to the Castillo de San Cristóbal. The view of PR was amazing from there. We all ended up walking 7 miles all around downtown San Juan. Eddie was the only one wearing sandals and he paid dearly for that. He had huge blisters by the time we were done. No worries though we found him some band aids at Walgreen's.   The picture at the top of my blog is actually our view of the ocean that day while we were eating lunch. This cruise went to Barbados, St Thomas, St Martin, St. Lucia, & St. Kitts. We had been to several of these ports before but was really looking forward to our first time touring the islands of St. Lucia and St. Kitts. We had the best time.

St Thomas- Bolongo Bay is paradise on earth!

We went snorkeling with the Turtles in Barbados off of Payne Beach.This was Jennifer's pick since it was her and Grant's 4 year Anniversary that day.  

We went to the beach in St. Kitts. They have monkeys running around everywhere like how we have dogs in the US. People have them on leashes and everything. 

We went to see the Pitons in St. Lucia. This was my pick! The Pitons are two volcanic plugs on the island. We went snorkeling between the Pitons. The view was gorgeous. St. Lucia was truly magnificent.  

We spent the day at the beach in St. Martin. The water here is crystal clear!
