Rattlesnake Saloon

Saturday Eddie and I spent the day with his family in Tuscumbia. His Mom Elaine, and his sister Angela and her family decided to make a picnic lunch and head to the city park for the day. The park has the world's largest man-made natural stone waterfall to be known in existence. It is 80 feet wide and 48 feet tall. 4,320,000 gallons of water per day passes over the falls. The largest stone weighs 77,000 pounds and there is 1,780 tons of Sandstone. Ok the history lesson is now over, bottom line the falls were beautiful. Angela's good friend Sharon lives there and told Angela about this place called Seven Springs Lodge; she thought my nephews would enjoy it. They have renovated Silos into rooms that you can stay the night in. They also have the very busy Rattlesnake Saloon. It is a bar located in a cave. It was a cool place to hang out. They had a live band playing and a truck that drives you down to the cave. It is their Saloon taxi. We enjoyed the day at the city park and the evening in the cave. The Rattlesnake Saloon must be a hot spot for the locals because towards the end of the night this place was hoppin. I would say well over 100 peeps down there in the cave. It was another interesting experience for the books.
