Hi-Way 50 Drive-In

Last night Eddie and I decided to eat at The Cattleman's Steakhouse for our anniversary dinner and then thought it would be fun to see a drive-in movie. The Hi-Way 50 Drive-In in Lewisburg, Tennessee is a single screen drive in theater that first opened in 1946 and is still playing movies today. This weekend they were showing Vampires Suck and Salt. So we decided to check them out.
We really did have the best time sitting in the car eating popcorn and watching the movies together. They have a building with concessions and with restrooms too. The theater also has digital FM sound, so there are no speaker boxes here, you just tune your FM radio to a particular station to hear the movies. We definitely will be doing it again soon. It was fairly cheap too, only $ 6 a person for both movies. If you are in the area and want something fun and different to do, you should check it out!
